Caney Creek Fire & Rescue are seeking firefighters to fill the role of paid and volunteer positions.
Montgomery County ESD 9: accepts applications for part-time positions throughout the year. Currently we have several 24 hour shift positions available in the Department and are filled as needed.
Description of Duties: Job duties may include, but are not limited to, responding to fire, rescue, emergency medical, and hazardous materials incidents; conducting fire prevention and public education programs; maintaining stations, apparatus and equipment in a ready state; compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations, and mandates; maintaining a state of physical fitness in order to perform duties; and performing other duties as assigned.
The applicant must possess qualities to work harmoniously in a team environment. All employees are hired at will.
Minimum Applicant Qualifications: Applicants seeking a part-time position must possess a current Texas Commission on Fire Protection Basic Firefighter certification, a current Texas Department of State Health Services Emergency Medical Technician ? Basic certification, and a current Texas Class ?B? Driver?s License.
