Augusta County Fire-Rescue is seeking highly motivated professional Firefighter/EMT providers to fill current and future positions. These positions will require a degree of individual flexibility as assignments may be given on a countywide basis. Positions will perform firefighter and emergency medical life support duties as required. Applicants must possess a valid Va. Driverís license, high school diploma or equivalent, a good driving record, must be computer literate and have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with associates and the public.
Virginia EMT Certified or NREMT, current Virginia approved CPR, Firefighter II, EVOC 3, Hazardous Materials Operations, and a current passed Regional Firefighter Testing Certificate (or currently employed in a similar position).
Preferred Qualifications or Ability to Obtain
ALS, Driver Pumper Operations, Driver Aerial Operations, and Vehicle Extrication.
Augusta County offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
