Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Nationally Registered EMT, AEMT or Paramedic
Firefighter I (Preference Given to candidates with Firefighter II)
Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
Pay Range and Benefits:
$49,358 to $66,131 plus a generous benefits package, proficiency incentives and overtime

About Our Department:
The Derry Fire Department is strongly supported by a vibrant community, is an ISO 3/3y, CAAS Accredited department that that responds to over 5000 Fire and EMS calls annually. The DFD operates out of four stations with a daily shift staffing of 16 firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics. Line personnel work a sh`341`ift schedule of 24 hours on duty with 72 hours off duty. All operations personnel are dual-role cross-trained; staffing an ALS ambulance, a Paramedic Engine, and/or a Truck Company.
