Village Fire Lieutenant - Point Lay

Responds to emergencies and performs duties related to fire suppression, rescue, and emergency care during ground ambulance transport. Assists with supervision of station operations; assist with overseeing assigned volunteer members and departmental training. Expected to serve as the incident commander in the absence of the Village Fire Chief. This position is a regular member of the North Slope Borough Fire Department and is authorized to act under Alaska Statute 18.70.

Requirements: Fire Lieutenant certification, EMT certification, supervisory experience, incident command training

Salary: $42.24 Hourly
