Job Description
Volunteer Firefighter position with Ponderosa Fire District. Serve the community and participate in emergency response, training, public education, and physical fitness. Minimum 40 hours per month required (10-hour shifts), with option for 24-hour shifts if requirements are met. No prior experience required; all necessary training provided.
Requirements: Age 18+, high school diploma or GED, one of the following certifications: Firefighter I&II, EMT, or S-130/190, valid driver's license, passing background check, 39-month driving record, U.S. citizenship or work authorization
