Job Description
Volunteer Firefighter position with Coastside Fire Protection District. Applications for the April 2026 Academy have closed, but applicants are notified of upcoming testing and hiring timelines. Volunteers must live within the service boundaries (Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Moss Beach, Montara) and commit to responding to general alarms.
Requirements: Age 18+, high school diploma or G.E.D, valid CA class C driver's license, legal right to work in US, pass Physical Ability Test and recurring medical examinations, good moral character, reliable transportation, valid vehicle registration and insurance, no felony record
