Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with Sugar Loaf Fire Protection District. Responds to structure fires, wildfires, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, and rescue calls. Initial training period of approximately one year with weeknight and weekend sessions. After certification, expected to respond to at least 15% of district calls (~110 annually) and attend monthly trainings (1st and 3rd Wednesdays, one Saturday). Must live in the district.
Requirements: Live in Sugar Loaf Fire Protection District, physically capable, willing to commit to training and call response, medical personnel and equipment operators also needed
