Firefighter/EMT

Career firefighter responsible for fire suppression, emergency medical response, rescue operations, fire prevention, and public education across a 750-square-mile rural Colorado jurisdiction. Duties include extinguishing fires, victim rescue, station maintenance, equipment maintenance, and training in stressful and hazardous conditions.

Requirements: H.S. Diploma or equivalent, Valid FireTEAM test score through National Testing Network, Firefighter 1 certification (IFSAC or PRO Board certified if from another state), EMT-Basic (must obtain Colorado EMT-B within 1 year of hire), Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations (IFSAC or PRO Board certified if from another state), Class R driver's license or CDL (must obtain Colorado DL within 30 days if out of state), ICS 100/200, NIMS 700/800, S-130/190, L-180

Salary: Firefighter probation- $63,600; Firefighter without EMT- $66,150; Firefighter with EMT- $69,300
