Volunteer Firefighter

Volunteer Firefighter position with Hot Sulphur Springs - Parshall Fire Protection District. Responds to structure fires, automobile collisions, hazardous materials incidents, wildland fires, fire alarms, medical assists, and public assistance calls. No experience necessary; training provided. Requires commitment of one weekend per month (Friday 5pm - Sunday 5pm) and attendance at 2nd and 4th Tuesday training nights (6:30pm-10:30pm).

Requirements: Must live in or within 15 minutes of Hot Sulphur Springs - Parshall Fire Protection District stations, Wildland certification (S-130/190) within 4 months, Colorado Hazmat Awareness and Operations within 1st year, Colorado State Firefighter 1 within 2 years, Colorado State Firefighter 2 within 3 years, able to attend 2 training nights per month
