Volunteer Firefighter

Volunteer firefighter position with Hot Sulphur Springs-Parshall Fire Protection District. Responds to structure fires, automobile collisions, hazardous materials incidents, wildland fires, fire alarms, medical assists, and public assistance calls. Training provided with no experience necessary. Must live within 15 minutes of district stations and commit to one weekend per month on duty.

Requirements: Must live in or within 15 minutes of Hot Sulphur Springs-Parshall Fire Protection District stations, able to attend 2nd and 4th Tuesday training nights monthly, Wildland certification (S-130/190) within 4 months, Colorado Hazmat Awareness and Operations within 1st year, Colorado State Firefighter 1 within 2 years, Colorado State Firefighter 2 within 3 years
