Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with Hygiene Fire Protection District. Candidates must complete a hiring process including written exam, physical agility test, EMS assessment, ride-along, oral board interview, and background check. Must obtain Firefighter I and EMT-Basic certification within first 12 months if not already certified.
Requirements: Age 18+, High School Diploma or GED, Healthcare Provider (AHA) CPR, FEMA NIMS IS-100/IS-200/IS-700/IS-800, Firefighter I and EMT-Basic (within 12 months), Department Driver/Operator Program completion (within 6 months), valid driving record
