Firefighter Recruit

Full-service firefighter position with West Metro Fire Rescue serving nearly 300,000 residents across 110+ square miles. Entry-level recruit role requiring Physical Agility Test, written exam, oral board interview, and background investigation. EMT certification no longer required prior to hire; WMFR provides EMT training post-academy.

Requirements: 18 years or older, valid driver's license, Colorado Driver's License by hire date, pass PAT (70% written test score minimum), pass background investigation including polygraph and psychological evaluation, pass physical and drug screening

Salary: 0-5 Months $73,184.43, 6-14 Months $78,814.00, 15-24 Months $90,073.14, 25-30 Months $95,702.72, 31-36 Months $106,961.86, Base Salary $112,591.43
