Firefighter Recruit

Full-service firefighter position with West Metro Fire Rescue serving nearly 300,000 residents across 110+ square miles in the Lakewood, CO area. Candidates must pass Physical Agility Test (PAT), written exam (70% passing score), oral board interview, and comprehensive background investigation including polygraph and psychological evaluation. Requirements: 18 years or older, valid driver's license, Colorado driver's license and vehicle insurance by hire date, ability to pass Physical Agility Test, written examination (70% passing score), oral board, background investigation, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation, physical examination, and drug/alcohol testing. EMT certification no longer required prior to hire (provided by department after academy graduation).
