Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Broad Brook Fire Department serving East Windsor. Requires residency within response area or reasonable distance to firehouse, physical exam, criminal background check, and first-year mandatory training including Blood/Airborne Pathogen, HazMat Awareness, and Firefighter 1 certification (for age 18+). Incentive plan available based on emergency and training attendance.
Requirements: Age 14-17 (Junior Firefighter) or 18+ (Regular Firefighter), residency in response area or East Windsor, pass physical examination and criminal background check, complete mandatory first-year training (Blood/Airborne Pathogen, HazMat Awareness, Firefighter 1 for 18+)
