Volunteer Firefighter

Volunteer firefighters serve as the vital foundation of the Enfield Fire Department. The department currently has several openings. Volunteers work part-time and receive benefits including paid tuition for firefighter training, protective gear, and eligibility for paid shifts at firehouses.

Requirements: Resident of Enfield or within 2-mile radius of Station 1 or 2, at least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED, pass application/interview, medical physical and drug screening, fingerprinting and background check
