Volunteer Firefighter

Volunteer firefighter position with the Enfield Fire Department. Candidates serve as probationary members initially, then become eligible for regular membership upon completion of minimum training requirements. Benefits include paid tuition for firefighter training, protective gear, property tax abatement, life insurance, and pension program eligibility.

Requirements: Resident of Enfield or within 2-mile radius of Station 1 or Station 2, at least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED, pass application/interview process, medical physical, drug screening, fingerprinting and background check
