Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with Mohegan Fire Company. Duties include suppression of all types of fires (structure, brush, vehicles), extrication of victims at fire and motor vehicle accidents, water rescues, hazmat incidents, and assisting with medical issues. Required fire company training and formal certification courses are available.
Requirements: 18 years or older, CT motor vehicle driver's license with no points, reside within Mohegan Fire Company response district (or within 5 miles), pass interview and background investigation, medically/physically qualified, CT certified interior firefighter certification, annual training/tests and medical exams
