Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Town of Vernon Fire Department. No experience necessary. Applicants must be at least 14 years old (junior members ages 14-17 have limited emergency scene duties). Requires physical exam and police background check. Training includes 2 introductory Monday nights plus 12+ nights of basic firefighting training.
Requirements: Age 14-70, physical exam, police background check, Firefighter I certification (120 hours), EMT certification available (120 hours)
