Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the City of Winsted Fire Department. Responsibilities include fire extinguishing, lifesaving operations, motor vehicle incidents, water rescue, rope rescue, hazardous materials response, and weather emergencies. Must pass state Firefighter 1 certification to serve as interior firefighter.
Requirements: Age 18+, US citizen, current CT driver's license, acceptable driving record, pass criminal background investigation, pass department physical examination and drug screening, Firefighter 1 certification (for interior firefighting)
