Job Description
Full-time career firefighter/EMT position responding to fire and EMS emergencies within the Millville Fire District. Responsibilities include operating fire and EMS apparatus, daily station duties, and equipment maintenance. Works rotating 24-on, 48-off schedule with a Kelly Day.
Requirements: 18 years old, High School Diploma or GED, NREMT certification, Delaware EMT Licensure, CPR/AED, Delaware EVO, valid Driver's License, Basic Firefighting Skills, Structural Firefighting Skills, Vehicle Rescue, Hazardous Materials Response Skills (or equivalent Firefighter I/II certification), ability to lift 150 lbs with assistance, pass physical agility test, practical skills evaluation, NFPA physical with drug test, background check
Salary: Hourly wage of $20.76 an hour (Approx. $56,000 yearly)
