Job Description
The Cape Coral Fire Department is hiring for a Fire Inspector. Responsibilities include consulting with builders and contractors, inspecting buildings for code compliance, investigating fire hazard complaints, and determining origin and cause of fires.
Requirements: State of Florida Certificate of Compliance-Firefighter II certification, State of Florida EMT or Paramedic, State of Florida Fire Safety Inspector certification (or obtain within 90 days), State of Florida Fire Investigator or IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) or NAFI Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator (CFEI) (or obtain within 24 months), valid state driver's license
