Job Description
Performs responsible public safety work protecting life and property. Responds to alarms, prevents and extinguishes fires, responds to rescue and medical incidents, enforces fire codes, provides public education, and maintains station equipment. Operates under supervision of Company Officer or Incident Commander.
Requirements: 18+ years old; high school graduate or GED; valid Florida Class E or Commercial Driver's License; safe driving record; Florida Firefighter I/II Certificate; Paramedic certification; CPR-BLS for Healthcare Provider; ACLS; NIMS certifications (I-100, I-200, I-700, I-800); tobacco-free for 1+ year prior and during employment; Associate degree in Fire Protection or related field (preferred)
Salary: $72,688
