Job Description
Join the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department as a firefighter. Applicants must be state certified in Florida as a firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT) or paramedic prior to applying. The department accepts applications year-round and conducts criminal background investigation, oral interviews, medical and psychological evaluations.
Requirements: Age 18+, high school diploma or GED, Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance, CPAT certification, Florida EMT and/or Paramedic Certificate, valid driver's license, nonuser of tobacco/tobacco products
