Job Description
Inspects buildings and facilities under construction, alteration, and repair for code compliance. Consults with builders and contractors, receives and investigates fire hazard complaints, and investigates extinguished fires to determine origin and cause.
Requirements: State of Florida Firefighter II certification, State of Florida EMT or Paramedic certification, State of Florida Fire Safety Inspector certification (or obtain within 90 days), State of Florida Fire Investigator or IAAI CFI or NAFI CFEI (or obtain within 24 months), Valid Florida driver's license
