Job Description
Under general direction of the Fire Marshal, performs responsible technical and specialized work in fire and life safety inspection, fire investigation, code enforcement, and plan checks. Reviews codes, issues permits for hazardous materials and public assembly, checks building plans for compliance with fire safety standards, conducts fire safety education programs, and participates in firefighting, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials operations.
