Job Description
Ranger/Wildland Firefighter position with Georgia Forestry Commission. Operates heavy equipment in wildfire suppression, assists with control burns and plow pre-suppression breaks, responds to fire calls and emergencies, participates in rotating on-call schedule. Duties include equipment maintenance, report preparation, and landowner assistance.
Requirements: Heavy equipment operation (2-5 ton trucks, crawler tractors), hand tools and bulldozer operation, fire suppression experience, on-call availability
