Part-Time Firefighter/EMT

Part-time, paid-on-call Firefighter/EMT position with Leland Township Fire and Rescue. Candidates must reside within 15 miles of Leelanau County border and be willing to work one 12-hour shift per month plus respond to large-scale emergency callouts. Department provides training, uniforms, and PPE.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, valid Michigan EMT license (or ability to acquire within 2 years), Michigan Firefighter I and II certification (or ability to acquire within 2 years), Michigan OFFT Hazardous Materials Operations level (or ability to acquire within 2 years), good driving history, good work history, clean criminal history, physically and mentally fit, experience as EMT and Firefighter preferred

Salary: $20-$26.00/hr.
