Firefighter

The Village of East Alton is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for Probationary Firefighter positions. Applicants can apply for East Alton only, Wood River only, or both departments using a joint application. One written test serves both departments; oral examinations, preference points, and eligibility lists are managed independently by each department.

Requirements: Age 21-35, High School Diploma or equivalent, Current CPAT certification at time of oral interviews, Capable of passing extensive background investigation, Must live within 20 linear miles of corporate limits, Available 1 year from date of hire
