Job Description
Marion Fire and Police Merit Board position. Testing performed every two years. Passing candidates maintain eligibility on a registry list for two years. Candidates must pass physical fitness assessment and meet qualification requirements including high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship, and background check.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, U.S. citizen, good health and eyesight, no felony convictions or disqualifying misdemeanors, pass physical fitness assessment (timed distance run, ladder climb, manikin drag, push-ups, sit-ups, agility run, flexed arm hang, confidence course)
