Job Description
The City of Marion Fire and Police Merit Board performs testing for the position of Probationary Firefighter every two years. Candidates passing the testing are maintained on a registry list for two years, and hiring is executed from the list as openings arise.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, age requirement (unspecified), good health and eyesight, U.S. citizenship, no felony convictions or disqualifying misdemeanors, valid driver's license, pass physical fitness assessment (timed run, ladder climb, manikin drag, push-ups, sit-ups, agility run, flexed arm hang, confidence course)
