Job Description
Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic position with Minooka Fire Protection District. Responds to emergency medical service, fire suppression, specialized rescue, hazardous materials and water rescue operations from two fire stations. Comprehensive benefits package including major medical, dental, vision, retirement account and downstate firefighter pension.
Requirements: Age 21-35 (with exemptions per state statute), U.S. Citizen, valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, no felony convictions, Illinois State Fire Marshal Certified Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter with EMT-B License at application, must be licensed paramedic with Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter certification and successfully test into EMS system at conditional offer, valid CPAT with ladder certification within 12 months of conditional offer
Salary: 2026 starting Salary: $75,651
