Job Description
Full-time firefighter position with the Atchison Fire Department. The department is staffed by eighteen full-time firefighters and prioritizes training and professional development. Candidates must pass a comprehensive hiring process including interviews, physical examination, and physical agility test (CPAT or department-administered).
Requirements: Age 18+, US citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, correctable to 20/20 vision (not colorblind), able to pass background investigation and drug test, no felony convictions, no marijuana use in past 12 months, residency within 10 minutes of fire station preferred
