Volunteer Firefighter

Mulvane Fire Rescue is accepting applications for volunteer firefighters. Next class starts in January. New members complete a 6-8 week department-taught class (one night per week plus some Saturdays) covering basic firefighting and fire ground safety. Members have 3 years to achieve Firefighter 1 certification, taught in-house by Training Staff with IFSAC national accreditation from KUFST.

Requirements: Willingness to complete new members class, achieve Firefighter 1 certification within 3 years

Salary: $3.00 per call and $4.00 per training session
