Job Description
Intensive probationary training program to become a fully qualified firefighter. Candidates undergo physical, academic, and technical assessment in fire suppression, search and rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical services. Prior firefighter certifications or EMT/paramedic experience not required.
Requirements: Physical fitness, strong work ethic, CPAT certification or willingness to complete, high school diploma or equivalent (standard requirement), Kentucky residency preferred
