Job Description
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the fire prevention program and public fire safety education. Reports to Fire Chief as part of executive staff. Requires thorough knowledge of fire hazard inspections, high degree of public contact, and participation in fire suppression and prevention activities.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, minimum 10 years career firefighter experience (Kentucky Fire Commission recognized), minimum 2 years at rank of Lieutenant or above, fire prevention/education certifications
Salary: $43.52 – $54.41
