Job Description
Firefighter/Paramedic position with St. George Fire Protection District. Candidates must pass Louisiana State Firefighters Civil Service Test and Paramedic Civil Service Test, complete background investigation, psychological exam, medical exam, drug screen, and Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Test. Upon completion of Recruit Academy and probationary period, candidate becomes certified firefighter.
Requirements: Age 18+, high school diploma or GED, US citizenship or valid work authorization, government-issued driver's license, Louisiana State Firefighters Civil Service Test passage, Paramedic Civil Service Test passage, NREMT Paramedic Certification, LA State Paramedic License, current CPR card, EMT certification
