Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Franklin Square & Munson Fire Department. Responsible for all fire suppression activities including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, carbon monoxide alarms, and hazardous materials incidents. New members complete one year of probation during which they receive extensive basic training at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy and with individual companies.
Requirements: 18-55 years old, Resident of Franklin Square & Munson Fire District, Must pass Department Physical exam, Maintain alarm and training percentage requirements
