Job Description
The Lake Charles Fire Department is continuously recruiting applicants for the position of firefighter. Starting annual salary is $35,198 plus $7,200 annually in supplemental pay for the first year. Includes benefits such as health/life insurance, vacation leave, uniforms, and on-the-job training leading to state certification.
Requirements: U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years old, High School Diploma or GED, valid Louisiana Driver's License, pass Civil Service written examination, Physical Agility Test, background investigation, oral interview, and medical/physical examination including drug screen
