Job Description
Firefighter position with the Vidalia Fire Department. Candidates must complete 17 weeks of required training including Firefighter I/II certification, hazardous materials operations, pumper and aerial driver operator certification, and National Registry EMT certification.
Requirements: 18+ years old, US citizen, high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, social security card, pass criminal background check, pass drug screening, pass physical agility exam, pass oral interview, Firefighter I/II, IFSTA Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations, Pumper Driver Operator, Aerial Driver Operator, National Registry EMT
