Job Description
Volunteer firefighter recruit position. Candidates begin as recruits responding to calls from HFD Center Station, attending training sessions twice monthly, and learning department procedures. After demonstrating commitment, recruits can be nominated for probationary status and eventually full membership upon completion of required certifications.
Requirements: Firefighter I & II certification (must obtain within 18 months), Hazardous Materials Operations Level Responder certification, commitment to learning fire service operations
