Job Description
Part-time, paid-on-call Firefighter/EMT positions with Leland Township Fire and Rescue. Candidates required to work one 12-hour shift per month and periodically respond to large-scale emergency callouts. Department provides training, uniforms, PPE, and stipends. Advanced Life Support services provider responding to approximately 450 calls annually.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, reside within 15 miles of Leelanau County border, good driving history, clean criminal history, high school diploma or equivalent, Michigan EMT license (or able to acquire within 2 years), Michigan Firefighter I and II certifications (or able to acquire within 2 years), Hazardous Materials Operations level certification (or able to acquire within 2 years), EMT and Firefighter experience preferred
Salary: $20-$26.00/hr.
