Job Description
Part-time, paid-on-call Firefighter/EMT position with Leland Township Fire and Rescue. Candidates required to work one 12-hour shift per month and respond to large-scale emergency callouts. Department provides training, uniforms, and personal protective equipment.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, reside within 15 miles of Leelanau County border, good driving and work history, clean criminal history, Michigan EMT license or ability to acquire within two years, Michigan Firefighter I and II or ability to acquire within two years, Hazardous Materials Operations level or ability to acquire within two years, physically and mentally fit
Salary: $20-$26.00/hr.
