Firefighter/Paramedic

Under the direction of the Fire Chief and command staff, Firefighter/EMTs perform fire suppression, EMS response, rescue operations, fire prevention activities, and related duties required to protect life and property. New hires may be required to complete a paramedic program at employer expense and become licensed within two years.

Requirements: Valid driver's license, State of Michigan Firefighter I & II certification, State of Michigan EMT or Paramedic license, pass drug screening, pass physical fitness test, psychological evaluation, security/background check

Salary: $57,942 – $67,801 (with paramedic license)
