Job Description
Under the direction of the Fire Chief, an on-call Fire Fighter controls and extinguishes fires, protects life and property, and maintains equipment. Position requires completion of Michigan Firefighter Training Council Firefighter I & II and Emergency Medical Responder Training within 24 months.
Requirements: Valid Michigan driver's license, high school diploma or GED, age 18+, pass physical agility tests, pass background check and drug screen, pass driving skills test, good driving record, physical ability to lift 100+ lbs, ability to acquire firefighter certification per Michigan Fire Fighters Training Council, no facial hair that interferes with respirator seals
