Firefighter (Full-Time)

Full-time firefighter position with GTMESA working a 48/96 shift schedule (48-hour shift followed by 96 hours off). Firefighters work in one of three shifts (Red, Green, Blue) led by a Captain and two Lieutenants. Responsibilities include fire suppression, EMS response, and hazardous materials response. Additional shifts often available for pickup.

Requirements: Michigan Firefighter I/II Certification, HazMat Operations Level Certification, EVOC Certification, Michigan EMT-B License, minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, clear driving record (0-4 points), pass physical ability test and medical evaluation, pass drug screen, ability to follow directions and work as team member
