Firefighter/EMT

Performs duties in emergency and non-emergency situations related to fire protection, emergency medical services, rescue services, hazardous materials response, and emergency management. Establishes eligibility list for firefighter candidates with periodic interviews. Must complete NIMS 700, 200, and 100 training within 60 days of hire.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, MO Firefighter I & II Certification (IFSAC or ProBoard), MO EMT license (Paramedic license preferred with 5% pay differential), CPAT certification within 12 months, Hazmat Awareness and Operations certifications, pass Regional FF written exam, valid state driver's license, background investigation, medical exam and drug test, A.S. in Fire Science preferred
