Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Kearney Fire & Rescue Protection District. Volunteers receive Basic Firefighter and First Responder training upon joining, followed by Firefighter I & II courses. After completing mentorship program equivalent to full-time staff, volunteers may work up to 48 hours/month for pay and may fill in for full-time employees as needed. Applications are always available.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, Live in the Fire District, Pass Background Check
