Job Description
Provides fire protection, fire safety, and emergency medical care to citizens of Brandon, MS through fire suppression, rescue operations, emergency medical services, and property conservation. Responds to fire calls, vehicle accidents, and emergencies; maintains fire apparatus and equipment; conducts fire safety training.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, valid state Firefighter Certificate within one year of employment, valid driver's license, Fire Science/Fire Prevention/Suppression vocational training preferred, physical ability to perform firefighting duties, audio-visual acuity for safety operations
