Job Description
Provides fire protection, fire safety and emergency medical care to citizens of Brandon, MS through fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services, and property conservation. Responds to emergency calls, performs vehicle maintenance, maintains physical fitness, and conducts fire safety training.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, vocational training in Fire Science/Fire Prevention/Suppression or related field, valid state Firefighter Certificate within one year of employment, valid driver's license, knowledge of fire suppression and prevention principles, emergency medical services procedures, International Fire Code
