FIREFIGHTER/EMT

Firefighter/EMT position participating in fire suppression, emergency medical response, technical rescue, and incident response operations. Works 24-hour shifts and maintains facilities, equipment, and apparatus. Responds to emergency calls, performs CPR and first aid, operates fire extinguishers, forces entry into structures, and conducts fire prevention education.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid NC Driver's License, Class B CDL or obtain within 6 months, NC Firefighter Level II certification and NC EMT Basic certification preferred or obtain within 6 months, pass physical/agility exam, drug test, and criminal background check

Salary: $47,018.47
