Job Description
Part-time fire inspector position with 8 hours available weekly. Performs inspections ensuring compliance with North Carolina State Fire Prevention Code, investigates hazardous conditions, prepares inspection reports, and assists with day-to-day fire department operations under supervision of the Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal.
Requirements: NC Standard Level I, II, or III Fire Inspector Certificate, valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, knowledge of firefighting techniques and fire inspection practices, computer skills, pre-employment physical and drug test required
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 / hr. (DOQ)
