Job Description
Part-time fire inspection position (8 hours weekly) with the City of Lenoir Fire Department. Employees perform inspections ensuring compliance with the North Carolina State Fire Prevention Code, investigate reports of hazardous conditions, and prepare inspection reports. Work is supervised by the Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal.
Requirements: NC Standard Level I, II, or III Fire Inspector Certificate, valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, pre-employment physical, drug test, and criminal background check
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 / hr. (DOQ)
