Job Description
Part-time position performing fire code compliance inspections for all buildings within City of Lenoir. Employees investigate hazardous conditions, prepare inspection reports, assist with evacuation plan design, and support day-to-day Fire Department operations. Work supervised by Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal.
Requirements: NC Standard Level I, II, or III Fire Inspector Certificate, valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, pre-employment physical, drug test, criminal background check
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 / hr. (DOQ)
