Job Description
Fire Engineers operate and maintain fire apparatus and firefighting equipment; provide emergency medical service; and perform firefighting, technical rescue, and hazardous materials response/mitigation. Responsibilities include responding to alarms, incident response, equipment maintenance, fire inspections, and training volunteers.
Requirements: Valid North Carolina Class B driver's license, Firefighter/Rescue/Driver/Operator/Pumps Certification, Wildland Firefighting Certification, high school graduation preferred, considerable firefighting experience preferred
Salary: $47,112 - $51,823 depending upon experience and qualifications
