Fire Fighter & Rescue Department Members

The Charlestown Fire Department is seeking on-call Fire Fighter and Rescue Department Members. The department provides fire prevention, fire suppression, basic hazardous materials response, vehicle rescue and extrication, basic rescue, and first response EMS services. Candidates should be team players, self-motivated, honest, trustworthy, and dedicated with a commitment to lifelong learning and safety consciousness. There is particular need for candidates available during daytime hours Monday-Friday.

Requirements: Valid driver's license, background check, enrolled in either Firefighter 1 course or EMS course leading to certification within 18 months of hire, preference for candidates pursuing both Firefighting and EMS certifications
