Job Description
The North Arlington Fire Department is seeking dedicated individuals to serve as volunteer firefighters. No prior experience required. Probationary members receive comprehensive training including Firefighter 1 certification at Bergen County Fire Academy, ongoing in-house instruction, and mentorship. All training, gear, and support provided at no cost.
Requirements: 18 years or older, high school graduate or equivalent, U.S. citizen, reside in North Arlington or contiguous communities (Lyndhurst, Kearny), pass criminal background check, pass medical examination, Firefighter 1 certification
